In an effort to fulfill the mission of Mount St. Joseph University, support the health and well-being of our students and employees, and meet our civic responsibility to help reduce the spread of COVID-19, the University has transitioned to “remote work status” for all faculty and staff—until further notice.

All official electronic and paper transcript requests are processed through the National Student Clearinghouse at www.getmytranscript.com. MSJ does not release unofficial transcripts.

As a current or former student, you may request an electronic transcript be securely delivered to a recipient via email (including yourself) or you may elect to have it sent directly to any of the NSC in-network colleges, universities, and organizations. You can also request to send a paper transcript.

All financial obligations to the Mount must be resolved before we can release your transcript.

The cost to order an official transcript through the National Student Clearinghouse is as follows:

  • $5.50 to $6.50 per electronic transcript recipient depending on if recipient is in-network or out (allow 1-3 business days to process)
  • $7.30 for each mailed paper transcript.
  • Express Mail services are available for additional fees, but MSJ requires 1-3 business for processing the request.

Major holidays may prolong processing time.

Please note the following:

  • By law, the Mount cannot issue copies of documents from other institutions.
  • During the order process, additional documents needed to accompany your transcript may also be uploaded at the Clearinghouse site and sent to your recipient.
  • Your credit or debit card is not charged until the Mount sends your transcript(s). However, if you use a debit card, your bank may put a hold on your funds when NSC pre-authorizes your payment. If you have questions on the pre-authorization, please contact your bank. Order updates will be sent to you from NSC via email and, if you choose, text messages. You can also track your transcript order online.
