Biography:
Dr. Ballard is emeritus professor of management, School of Business. He has over 25 years of consulting and managerial experience and is the author of the award-winning book, Decoding the Workplace. His research, blogging (www.johnballardphd.com), and tweeting (@JohnBallardPhD) focus on bridging the gap between management scholars and practitioners. Dr. Ballard has been honored with numerous awards including the university’s Distinguished Scholar Award in 2016. A member of several professional associations, he is most active in the Academy of Management and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
