Biography:

Associate Professor of Graphic Design; teaches digital media, brand identity, information graphics, senior research and senior degree project. With more than 20 years experience in the Graphic Design profession, Kurt attempts to bring together all of the different elements within visual communication—detail and strategy, creativity and problem solving, print and web design. He has worked at advertising agencies, design firms, the not for profit sector and is currently Creative Partner at Grannan Design LTD, a small design firm moving into their second decade of creative work. Kurt is also a painter who has displayed his work nationally. BFA from Columbus College of Art and Design, 1987, MFA from University of Cincinnati, 2008.
