Keith Lanser is an innovative and collaborative higher education professional who works at Mount St. Joseph University as associate director of service learning and civic engagement in the Career & Experiential Education Center.


Keith holds a bachelor’s degree from Northern Kentucky University in international studies and Spanish, a master’s degree from the University of New Mexico in Latin American studies, and a graduate certificate in nonprofit management from Northern Kentucky University.


Prior to working at Mount St. Joseph University, Keith worked as experiential learning facilitator at Gateway Community and Technical College, and as the assistant coordinator of the Spanish as a second language program at the University of New Mexico. In his roles at Mount St. Joseph and Gateway CTC, Keith has facilitated over 32,000 hours of community service through credit-bearing service learning, with an in-kind value of over $706,991. Additionally, he has facilitated academic and co-curricular student philanthropy experiences, resulting in over $31,300 awarded to 16 local nonprofits. Keith was recently recognized by Northern Kentucky Young Professionals with the 2018 NKYP Next Generation Leader Award under the Education Category for commitment to engaged teaching and learning.

Keith currently serves as Board President of the English Language Learning Foundation, and has previously served as Board Vice President of Renaissance Covington and a Board Member of Teaching for a Better Tomorrow.
