Andrea was born and raised in rural Germany where she apprenticed as a midwife and obtained her degree as Certified Midwife at the University Women’s Clinic in Würzburg in 2002.

After marriage brought her to the US, she quickly enrolled in college and completed her Associate degree and Bachelors degree summa cum laude.

She graduated from Methodist University Physician Assistant Program in Fayetteville NC with honors in 2010 and has been practicing as a Physician Assistant in Primary Care including VA Home-Based Primary Care which included home visits for geriatric, home-bound & hospice patients. To further her proficiency, she has had “moonlighting “positions in psychiatry & neurology and was also involved in several clinical research projects over the years.

Since 2018, she and her family have made Cincinnati their home. She teaches as adjunct faculty at the Mount St. Joseph Physician Assistant Program in Delhi and enjoys kayaking and multiple creative arts like pyrography with her family in her spare time.
