Biography:

Emily Merz is the Career and Co-Op Coordinator for the schools of Behavioral and Natural Sciences and Arts and Humanities in the Career and Experiential Education Center. After graduating from Mount St. Joseph University with a degree in sociology and theology, Emily completed her graduate work at the University of Cincinnati in gender studies. Since 2015, she has been teaching sociology and gender studies in higher education. She has been awarded Adjunct Faculty Member of the Year at both Northern Kentucky University and Mount St. Joseph University. Emily enjoys helping student grow academically and professionally as both a professor and co-op coordinator.

Emily is a Cincinnati native. She enjoys hiking, dad jokes, and hanging out with friends.
