Degrees:

Ph.D., Miami University; M.S., Miami University; B.S., Marietta College

Biography:

Dr. Rosendale is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical and Natural Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Zoology from Miami University as wells as a B.S. in Biology from Marietta College. He completed his postdoctoral training at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Rosendale joined that faculty at the Mount in the fall of 2018 and currently teaches Introductory Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, and Ecology.

Dr. Rosendale is a molecular physiologist and vector biologist who investigates the physiology of ticks and a variety of insects. His current research focuses on understanding how climate change may impact the distribution of vectors and the diseases they carry, identifying novel and effective ways of controlling pest insects, and surveying the ticks and tick-borne diseases in the Cincinnati area.

In his free time, Dr. Rosendale enjoys being in the outdoors, reading, and spending time with his family.
