Biography:
Ms. Hinzman is an associate professor in the Department of Nursing and has been a nursing educator for 21 years. She received her D.N.P. from the University of Cincinnati, an M.S.N with a perinatal clinical specialist focus from Indiana University/Purdue University in Indianapolis (IUPUI) and a B.S.N. from Duke University.
Professor Hinzman's current research explores what prenatal healthcare providers know, assess and manage related to caffeine intake of pregnant women. In her free time, she enjoys her family, spending time outdoors, gardening, baking, and decorating.
