Mount St. Joseph University (the Mount) recently hosted its annual Health and Wellness Fair, drawing in nearly 30 vendors who shared their expertise on various aspects of holistic health and wellbeing.
The event, which took place on campus, aimed to provide valuable resources and insights to both students and employees. Mara Kandra, HR Generalist at the Mount, expresses the purpose behind this year's fair.
"This year, we intentionally focused on inviting vendors whose expertise is in emotional, physical, spiritual, financial, social, and intellectual health and wellbeing," says Kandra. The diverse range of vendors ensured that attendees could explore different facets of their wellbeing and discover tools and strategies to enhance their overall quality of life.

In addition, the fair garnered significant participation from both students and employees, reflecting a shared interest in prioritizing mental health and holistic wellbeing. Attendees had the opportunity to engage with experts, learn practical tips, and access valuable resources aimed at supporting their individual health journeys.
Reflecting on the event's success, Kandra remarked, "It was great to see both students and employees attend and learn ways to support their mental health and overall wellbeing." The fair served as a platform for fostering a culture of wellness within the Mount Community, empowering individuals to take proactive steps towards achieving balance and fulfillment in all aspects of their lives.
