Biography:

Lauren has been a speech-language pathologist in adult healthcare settings for 15 years. Lauren’s career has involved caring for individuals with speech, language, or swallowing disorders due to brain injury or stroke, patients with head and neck cancer, as well as patients with voice and upper airway needs. In her clinical roles, Lauren has been involved in the development and leadership of new programs, and extensive clinical supervision of graduate students. In addition to her ongoing clinical work, Lauren is passionate about using simulation to create meaningful learning experiences for SLP graduate students. Through simulation and experiential learning techniques, Lauren hopes to improve the confidence and competence of the MSLP students at MSJ.
