Biography:
Dr. Dehner is Department Chair and Professor of Physical Therapy and teaches neuroscience and geriatric evaluation and treatment. She has a pro bono practice helping older adults improve their balance and reduce their risk for falls and is a Certified Exercise Expert in Aging Adults (CEEAA). Dr. Dehner has a background as a researcher in the field of neurobiology and has multiple publications and presentations. Her current research is focused on the scholarship of teaching and learning with emphasis in geriatric education and in the area of development of clinical reasoning in student physical therapists.
