Biography:
Dr. Sontag is Associate Professor of Philosophy and Dean for the School of Arts & Humanities. He teaches courses in the history of philosophy, ethics, philosophy of art, and philosophy of mind.
Dr. Sontag holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Cincinnati. His research interests are in the areas of philosophy of mind and philosophical psychology, with a focus on theories of emotion. Dr. Sontag has been awarded the Excellence in Teaching Award by the University of Cincinnati Graduate School, the Elizabeth Ann Seton Mission Award by Mount St. Joseph University, and has been named Distinguished Educator by the Southwest Ohio Art Education Association.
