Biography:

Therese Waldbillig, earned her B.F.A. with concentration in Fiber Fabric Design, 1987 at the College of Mount St. Joseph.  Upon graduation, Therese received a commission from the College of Mount St. Joseph, to create an 8’(H) x 24’ (W) multi-panel screen-printing on fabric. “Growth of Spirit” was installed the summer of 1987 and has graced the library for 36 years. Therese has exhibited her Fiber Art in various Regional and National Exhibits, The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Woman’s Art Club of Cincinnati, “A Celebration of Contemporary Fabric Artwork” Studio San Guiseppe Gallery, The College of Mount St. Joseph, Carnegie Art Center, Craft Guild of Greater Cincinnati and has taught at the CraftSummer Miami University Program.  Therese also exhibits and sells her Fiber Art at numerous Juried Art Shows and awarded First Place and Best in Show in the Fibers category.  Therese is a Fiber Fabric artist who loves to share her passion in the Fiber Arts. Her inspiration comes from nature. “As a Fiber artist, my desire is to express the beauty that surrounds us in nature, through the use of color, texture and design.”
