Biography:
A key value in Ginny’s life has been life-long learning. After spending nearly two decades in the medical profession, she entered higher education in 2001 at Hiram College as a part-time receptionist, eventually becoming an admission counselor. Later, she accepted the position of Assistant Registrar, and then Registrar at Hiram in 2008 after receiving her MA. In addition, Ginny has taught college writing courses both in the classroom and online. She believes she often learns more from her students than they learn from her.
In 2014, Ginny took a break from higher education to establish a business. She returned to Hiram College in 2017 and to the Registrar’s Office as Associate Registrar in 2018. What Ginny enjoys most about working in the Registrar’s Office are the wonderful students, faculty, staff, and alumni with whom she has the opportunity to interact. In her role as Registrar at Mount St. Joseph University, she looks forward to continuing the excellent management of all student academic records and the administration of all Registrar Office services and operations. She has been a member of both AACRAO and OACRAO since 2008.
