Biography:

Julie Hogan Tolbert is a lifelong learner with a passion not only for knowledge but to share it as well. She received her BA from the University of Cincinnati in Geography with an emphasis on Culture and her MSM from Strayer University with an emphasis on Leadership. She is currently working on her Ph.D. in General Philosophy with an emphasis on Sport and Performance Psychology from Grand Canyon University.  Prior to working for MSJ’s Physical Therapy Department, she worked for many years in elementary education.

She is the chairperson of Cincinnati Public School’s  Local School Decision-Making Committee for Roberts Academy in East Price. She is also a board member for Women are Gold, a local charity that brings awareness to human sex trafficking in Cambodia. She has been recognized by LULAC and English Language Learning Foundation for her work with children whose first language is not English.
