Biography:
Mary Mazuk began working in higher education in 2005, as the Advising Resource Coordinator at Mount St. Joseph University. She quickly transitioned to the Academic Exploration Program Coordinator, specializing in advising undeclared students, and teaching as an adjunct faculty member. In 2010, she was appointed as Director of and implemented the first Academic Advising Resource Center (AARC) at the University, overseeing advising processes and training. What Mary enjoys most about working in the AARC are the interactions with students and the alumni who come back to visit the Mount. Prior to working in higher education, she worked in the mental health field and holds a Professional Clinical Counselor licensure in Ohio.
