Mount St. Joseph University announces the opening of its new bookstore re-named, “The Roar Store."
Mount St. Joseph University announces the opening of its new bookstore re-named, “The Roar Store” on August 7, 2020. Store hours are 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The Roar Store is located in the Harrington Center, complete with new, vibrant renovations to represent the Mount’s spirit. Students can order books exclusively online that they can pick up at the Roar Store through our new eCampus site that will replace Follet. Ordering through eCampus includes two different shipping options:
- Free online shipping to Text Book Delivery Hub located in the Roar Store open for pick up, students can find order here.
- Delivered to off-campus residence for students at a flat rate of $5.
In addition, an online store is launching Fall of 2020 where students can purchase spirit wear and other numerous items. A sale is running to the end of August in The Roar Store: All items are 25% off everything in the store through Aug. 31, and scrubs are 50% off.
Campus has been hands-on with the renovations, and is excited for the launch. “The new Roar Store is designed to meet the needs of our students, whether it’s Spirit wear, gifts, snacks or to pick up their ecampus book order,” says Katrina Kenton, Director of Auxiliary Services. “We also have everything from notebooks to laundry detergent to brake fluid and tire repair. We hope to offer our students enough variety and supplies so they do not have to run up Delhi Pike for the something they forgot for class. Everyone will enjoy the wide range of foods and snacks we offer, too!”
In addition, members on campus are excited for the re-design to represent the Mount's brand. “I designed the Roar Store graphics as a sneak peek of some of the branding you will see in the new Centennial Field House,” says Amanda Absher, Graphic Designer in Creative Services at the Mount. “I wanted to create a vibrant, spirited entrance to get students and the rest of the Mount community excited to shop! It was fun to see it all come together when it was installed.”
