Department Overview
Students who choose a communication and new media studies degree learn to apply communication theory and critical thinking in various communication settings. They learn about the role communication plays in the social construction of meaning, and develop the ability to communicate effectively, ethically and creatively.

We offer a Bachelor of Arts or Associate in Arts degree in Communication and New Media Studies. We offer a minors in Communication and New Media Studies.
Our Programs
The Bachelor of Arts in Communication & New Media Studies transforms students into effective, confident, and ethical communicators, honing critical and creative thinking skills.
The minor in Communication & New Media Studies teaches students to persuade, influence, negotiate, and generate and adapt ideas.
