A grant is a financial aid award typically based on your financial need, and it does not need to be repaid. Grants come from multiple sources including the Mount, the federal government and the Ohio state government. Catholic High School GAP Awards
Award:
Up to 85 percent off tuition/room/board.

Requirement:
Students must have a financial need after loans, work study, and gift assistance. Must have graduated from a Catholic high school.

Pell Grant
Award: $740-$7,395
Source: Federal
Requirement: Students must demonstrate financial need to qualify for this grant.

Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant
Award: $1,500 maximum
Source: Federal
Requirement: Students must demonstrate financial need to qualify for this grant.

Ohio College Opportunity Grant
Award: $5,000
Source: State of Ohio
Requirement: Students must demonstrate financial need and be an Ohio resident to qualify for this grant.

TEACH Grant
The Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant Program offers assistance to students who intend to teach in a high-need field and in a school that serves students from lower socioeconomic backgrounds. Award: $3,772 maximum. A minimum GPA of 3.25 is required. Please contact the Student Administrative Services Office at 513-244-4418 if you are interested or need additional information.
